We study genetic variation through the lens of computational and population genetics, to uncover the processes that shape genetic variation - from deep evolutionary history to molecular mechanisms.
To do so, we develop theory and algorithms, drawing on both classical models and modern machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches; and analyse data from cutting-edge sequencing technologies.
Regev Schweiger is a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Human Genetics and Computational Medicine School of Medical Sciences at the Gray Faculty of Medical & Health Science and at the Blavatnik School of Computer Science and AI, and a Member of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics at Tel Aviv University.
We have open positions across all levels: MSc, PhD, postdocs and lab manager.
